Woman arrested for stabbing her husband whom she said called another woman's name during sex

A 39 year old woman, Christina Balazi, has been arrested for attempted murder after her husband Christopher was stabbed in the neck and chest in the frenzied attack

claims she stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife multiple times after he yelled out another woman's name during sex.

Mr Balazi told police he and his wife of 10 years had been in bed together when suddenly she pulled a sheet over his head and started stabbing him with a kitchen knife.

He wrestled her to the ground and snatched the knife from her grip before managing to run outside for help.

As his wife chased after him she shouted: "I'm tired of this."

Mrs Balazi, from West Palm Beach, Florida, got into her car and attempted to flee but was stopped and arrested after a police chase.

Police said she admitted stabbing her husband and said it was because he had said the name of another woman in bed.

Mr Balazi was treated for seven stab wounds at a local hospital .

The defendant, who was said to suffer from bipolar disorder , faces attempted murder and fleeing and eluding charges, according to police.
