An
emotional Vin Diesel has revealed that he will always have a little piece of
friend Paul Walker with him after naming his baby daughter in honour of the
star.
The
Fast & Furious actor announced on the today show Monday that he
has called his little girl Pauline.
In a pre-recorded segment,
the 47-year-old actor broke down in tears as he told Today's Natalie Morales
while flying in a helicopter over Los Angeles.
Struggling
to keep his emotions in check, the action man actor said he knew Paul was there
supporting him and his girlfriend Paloma Jimenez, earlier this month when she
gave birth to the little girl.
'There's
no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord.
'I just
thought... I knew he was there and it felt like, you know, a way to keep his
memory a part of my family and a part of my world.'
Little
Pauline is the third child for the couple who also share a daughter Hania, 6,
and son Vincent, 4.
The
actor has been having an emotional time recently dealing with the death of his
friend.
Paul died at the age of 40 after the car he was a passenger in crashed in November 2013, killing him and the driver.

Last
week at the preview screening of his new film - and Paul's last - Furious 7 in
Los Angeles, California, Vin broke down in tears.
Speaking
to the audience he said: 'This film was a labour of love. It was in some ways
it was the hardest movie I’ve ever had to do because the relationships you see
on film are so real.
